Anyway, so far, i've spent 2 days in ACJC and a week in ACSI.
The difference is huge! and i keep thinking of days in acjc band. <3 But, i'm not gonna dwell on the past anymore. I've got to live with my choices. Or at least, try. Going to look forward to sleepless nights and lots of homework over the next 2 years. :D not. Calida, my OGL, just gave me a talk at Hagan Daaz. She really scared the wits out of me and i'm not sure if im cut out for IB! :S worried for the IOC (i think), the oral presentations and the shit loads of Internal Assessments, especially for Chem and Bio.
People have already started on the homework. It's crazy! and yeah, i've a pile of homework already, but i just dont feel like starting on it. It's only the 1st week of school!:(
Today was CCA fair. I signed up for Touch Rugby, Netball, and of course, Band. I was thinking of Horse Riding but they didn't set up a booth:(
Don't really know which to sign up for, but i'm more inclined towards joining band. I'm just passionate about it, i guess! but the band isnt really that good, after being with acband HAHA.
Crashed OG18's outing after CCA fair. we went to Holland! and I bumped into ZhiHao while Jasper and I were trying to find Janan. They were with their OGs too! Zhi Hao just gives me that disgusted look every time he sees me la! and goes like "FINE, IB LAH!" or something. :( FINE, ZHI HAO, BE THAT WAY. He just misses me. haha oh yes, I was talking to Jasper, the guy who was so insistent that i join band, and i realised he knows Olivia and zhi hao and magdeline and everyone! Haha. At least i'm not the only one (in my school). Jasper says that Ish would most probably be the band prez. Haha, I kind of agree! Whoo, go ish!
Although i really miss JC, IB's cool too. i guess. They're more disciplined, and less scandalous, but they're warm and friendly. I LOVE OG 11 '10! We've played Dare like 1001 times already. Oh, and i have to upload more videossss! HAHA. Today, for the first time all week i think, we ponned a lecture. :D haha and Koon Min was stuck inside the LT. he texted Tim Neo "Where is Og 11?" HAHAHA and Tim scared us all by saying it was a teacher (his guilty conscience). In the end, he joined us though.
Everyone has the wrong impression of me though. They all think i'm uh, not very innocent. Damn, shouldn't have done those surveys. haha.
Can't wait for the games next week! I'm coming to school in my new uniform! Watch out for me. HAHA.

I guess i didn't do that badly. :\ I mean, it could've been worse.
I'm just really annoyed that I screwed biology up! The question that i knew really well and was damn happy at first when it came out, I got it all wrong. At that moment, I couldn't recall whether your suspensory ligaments in your eye would relax or contract when looking at a distant object. yay, 5marks gone, A2.
So, i got a 7.
I can safely say that i was the calmest person in the hall la, among all the students. HAHAH I didnt feel nervous or anything till 2.30pm. Dont know what's wrong with me! I waited till i was on the bus to see my results. Too bad i didnt get to see the lisence plate of the bus. damn. Oh, and yesterday was the first time i received so many texts plus calls from different people okay! Crazy. got sick and tired of replying the same thing over and over again. haha
Everyone's telling me that it's good enough, and i guess i shouldn't be complaining.
To all those who didnt do as ideally, move on! It'll still work out in the end. :D Just leave it to God.
Don't know if i should attend AC band prac tmr! I think it'd be really intimidating. :S and i suck at playing now:( HOWWWW?!

Although the school term really SUCKED, and i studied for hours a day, slogged for the O levels, i still enjoyed it because i had friends who saw me through the whole ordeal and cheered me up and help me destress. Plus, i had a fantastic holiday at the end of the year, going to Hong Kong with my besties, going out with my other friends, going for the skcc camp, going to Butter with cherry and Silvana and Ant.
2009 was also the year where many disasters occurred. ;\ Many natural disasters, and the financial crisis, Mj passing on, etc. OKAY MJ passing on is not really a disaster, but it affected many people. it saddened the world. I have a hunch it was partly due to 2009 having THREE Friday the Thirteenths, but that's just my belief.
On to 2010! It's a new year. Time for new opportunities, new friendships, new everything. It'd definitely take some time getting used to writing 2010 on my homework, instead of 2009. XD
My new year resolutions:
1. Grow closer to God
2. Become a better person, more forgiving, more sensible and more attentive and alert. and street-smart.
3. Sleep less in classes.
4. Manage my time better
5. Stay lighter than my mom. In other words, LOSE WEIGHT.
6. Spend less money.
7. Increase my self-confidence level
8. Put actions through, not just say things.
9. Exercise more frequently, at least once a week on my own. swim perhaps?
10. Grow closer to my family, especially my sister.
But it's true. i really didn't want to go to Labrador Park. Apparently there was uh. Malay dance! and Indian Dance and Chinese dance! eeps!
So, we reached Marina Square at around 11.15. Not too late i guess! we got out of the car, and i went to find the toilet. sppent a long time there queueing. Marina Square was exactly where the fireworks was going to be right! we should've stayed there.:\
Once i joined my family again, my dad rushed back to the car and took us on an adrenaline-pumping ride to Marina South. Seriously, the car in front was no more than a metre yet he wasn't slowing down! We raced against time, and the police - k luh, we didnt really beat the police. My dad out-talked them- and we got to Marina South at 11.40pm.
I had no idea what was going on till we reached the place. Turns out my Aunt booked a boat. LOL. So, we were all whisked away into the open sea. Then, i was still thinking: hmm not bad! We don't have to squeeze and push and shove with the crowd.
Who knew we didn't even get to see the fireworks. THE STUPID I.R. HOTELS WERE BLOCKING THE FIREWORKS SO WE COULD ONLY SEE HALF OF EVERY EXPLOSION, in btw each block. I did catch the finale though and it was awesome. looks just like my H&M blouse! x) We were in the ocean, watching, and it was so peaceful cos we couldn't even hear the fireworks.
In the open sea, there were tons of boats, yachts, and even tour ships, all having their own small celebration on board. We were all duped into thinking that we could catch the fireworks fully. :\ But it was still a good experience. Once it turned 2010, there was a cacophony of ship honks, high and low pitched, as if they were all shouting to others, wishing them a happy new year.
I did my own countdown, upon seeing the first of the fireworks. Like, a rushed 109876543210! Pathetic, huh. We didn't know the exact timing.
And, as if i wasn't seasick enough (our boat was really small and it rocked violently!), my Aunt told the driver to bring us further out to sea to show her the dredgers. She was really interested in them cos, well she deals with ships every day! The dredgers were at least 16x of us, and when we stopped next to them, our boat rocked even more. D: so i started running on the spot. LOL. It was a psychological thing! I'm not weird.
The people on the dredgers were excited when they saw us! There were few ships near to them, and they were so miserable and lonely on board. :\ We exchanged new year greetings like we did to the other boats.
This year's countdown wasn't exactly fun, but it was definitely memorable. I'm glad that i spent the first few hours of 2010 with my family. :)

RAHHH RAHH RAHHAHAHHH it's so hard to organise a 4C2 class gathering! Everyone's so hesitant about going. :( it's not like they have anything else to do! Kidding. It doesn't help either when a quarter of the class is back in China. Anyway, the party will go on without them. they'll just regret later. :)
Hong Kong trip was good, on the whole. :D got to see Weng hei and Si Cheng, as well as the attractions there, and we enjoyed the weather (so much better than Singapore's!) -OMG FACEBOOK SUDDENLY DIED ON ME! WTH! - Even though i didnt enjoy the smelly air there ( EVERYONE smokes there so you barely get to breathe in any clean air) and the hotel having a spoilt heater, at least for our room, and there were stupid pubs opposite blasting loud music into the night, i still enjoyed the trip. :) I learnt some things about Gladys and Silvana too! and i'm considering to aim for HKU. if my parents allow me to study overseas, that is!
Everyone, BE JEALOUS! I met Si Cheng and you all didn't!

Other than that, the day was horrible.
Took an unpleasant bus ride to the City Square condo cos my cousin was celebrating his birthday! well since i've never been up to the apartment before, i left the function room and followed my other cousin up. I did not expect to be ignored at first, then ordered to do this and do that, and being scolded for taking so long to get a cab! FYI there were no cabs around at that time. Finally, being nagged at for choosing Hong Kong as a holiday destination. for one week somemore. WTHCK I REALLY CAN'T STAND HER! and i can't do anything cos she's like way older than me -.-
Hope her daughter doesnt turn out to be like her. Her daughter's reallyyy pretty btw! though she's barely a year old. She's indian-chinese!
After the party, got nagged at by my dad! SUPER ANNOYING LAH. he keeps giving me all these lessons and tips on life and i really feel like just telling him to shut up. RAHHH!
On the plus side, the condo's REALLY cool. There's a huge, professional-looking gym, 2 Karoke rooms, 1 game room (with a pool table inside!!), a bowling alley, 3 swimming pools - one huge one, one with some rain feature thing where water falls from this circle thing like the one at Suntec, and one with a playground in the pool!:D so cool.
and i love my aunt's room! <3 the funny thing is that she has like studio pictures of herself framed, covering one entire side of the wall. XD Her house is perfect for hide and seek!
Well, leaving for Hong Kong in 8.5 hours with Sil and Gladys! Can't wait.

I played for Musical Evening 2009. It was horrible cos i faked my way through since tuning was bad.
Seng Kang camp! super fun. :D Darius and Denzel were haunted by the snot girl. damn funny!
CJC Tune-in. Had to take 2 buses there. Overshot both times. :S Skipped the games part and went straight for lunch. with the Clarinet section. it was really weird. Luckily theo came! Played nice songs. The people there were quite friendly luh. haha
Scotch Tape Mayhem's 1st gig. :\ though their playing was good, it was a bad experience. qizhi's an ass too.

I can use squat toilets now! and there, i experienced going to the loo w/o toilet paper. AHAHA. Oh, and i now believe in fengshui more, and appreciate chinese culture more. XD and i think i'm realllyy good at skiing! XD

1. Climbed to the 3rd station at the Great Wall. Super tiring!
2. Didn't get to see snow
3. Skiied the expert slope at the ski resort. i rock.
4. Got cheated of my money. Didn't bargin enough.
5. Bought boots, leather(sorta) jacket, a bag, DVDs
6. Went to the hot springs. shiok!
7. Did clay moulding. Really messed up haha
8. There was an overhead bridge with mathematical formlae on it
9. Didn't get to take pictures with soldiers, but only with security guards. i like their uniform!
10. Hotel rooms were HUGE! and comfy.
11. Beijing air was hazy and brown when i first reached.
12. Could barely understand any chinese there. Had to have translators. :S
13. tried Beijing's most famous dishes - huo guo, dumpling, and peking duck:D
14. Business Class food is like 3x better than economy! and i got to sit in the seat for a while. XD
15. I got a freee purple pearl from the pearl shop we visited!
16. Beijing's really an ideal place for old people to live in. hahaha i wanna migrate there next time. XD
17. My cousin's gf broke up with him with an sms during the trip. and i think it ruined the trip for him. :\ that girl's an asshole
18. Watched a show at Happy Valley. There was a flood scene where they really poured water from the stage. it looked damn real! Good show.
19. Had a swollen eye duing the trip. damn annoying. the turtle necks were making my neck itchy too!
20. People smoke indoors and spit on the floor there. Couldn't get used to that.
21. I love the weather there! so much better compared to Singapore's.
22. Stepped on frozen ponds and broke the ice. XD
23. My aunt bought me a crystal handphone keychain that i really like.
24. Talked to the people in my tour group but didn't really get their contacts. :D
25. Bought a tee that lights up when it detects music or voices. COOL EH.
26. Cousins kept doing and learning and buying magic tricks. I learnt some too!
27. Beijing people like their food salty and oily. Which is really unhealthy!
28. I bought the "I climbed the Great Wall" plaque thing with my name engraved on it, though the whole bus was waiting for me. XD

It wasn't thaat bad! It's just that I wasn't happy with the makeup and the hair-do. I mean, it's good, just doesn't suit me. AND THE MAKE UP ARTIST GUY CHEATED US OF A BIG EVIAN WATER BOTTLE. ASSHOLE.
Gladys, Vana and I met up early to get our brows done (Mom's unhappy with how it looks though)!
Joan's kor was really nice. He took care of everything for us, the towels, the room, everything. When we went up to the room, we literally jumped for joy cos it was bigger than expected!
and there were tv channels of every language! almost.
I gaped when I saw the make up artist we had booked. He was. He looked beng(his face and the tummy) the rest of him looked gay. So from then on, I had a bad feeling.
Overall, I would say that the make up and hair was well done! Just overdone. I think Michelle and Joan looked the best out of all of us. but the man's students were really friendly and it was wonderful having them. We were kinda freaked out by the tranny though. :S She's hot, just that she has a man's voice. LOL.
After make-up, we rushed to Taka to get Hollywood Tape and me, CONTACTS. OMG. It was a very traumatic experience, trying to touch (and rub) your eyeball! I took really long to get it in and out. :S They cost $40 though!:D but i've yet to buy the container and saline liquid thing. The contacts didn't have estique (sp?) so I still couldn't really see throughout the night. :(

The dinner. The first part was boring, honestly. 4C1 kept snagging away all the lucky draw prizes! and INEZ won a Nintendo DS wthck! I WANT IT! The top prize, an acer notebook, went to. i forgot. HEH.
A lot of people couldn't recognise me at all! esp Mdm Kuan and Mr Lee omg. :\ and Eunice. D; But Ms Seow (and Mdm Kuan) complimented me! :D
Congrats to Silvana who won Ms Crescentian 2009! :D:D:D She crapped the whole way through. "I think what would really describe me, is SPECIAL. Firstly, my name. Secondly, my accent" HAHAHAHA. Special Silvana. How about that?! She had the honour of dancing with the best dressed teacher, of course! MR CHNG! LOL. That was hilarious. XD
The highlight of the event was the dancing! The group of us danced to funky tunes like Low, I gotta feeling, etc. It was awesome. XD After that, Ling, Joan, Gladys, Vana and I walked along Orchard Road to cam whore. LOL Gladys is the proest. She lasted the longest. Even at 5am she was still enthu about taking photos! Crazy girl.
There were people smoking outside Prada. Haha they were laughing at us when we were taking these photos. LOL.
Ion Orchard
OH YES. HEELS KILL. I don't understand why people like to wear heels! Just because they look good in them?! They cause health problems and hurt your feet omg. I think the whole level was wearing heels. Every one of us. :\
After lots of tau poking, cam whoring, trying to catch glimpses of the meteor shower(me), pigging out, and singing, and not brushing our teeths, we finally went to sleep. That was. around 6am. LOL.
For once, Ling Ling's retardedness did good! LOL. she wrote "Interested? Call me at 83335434" on a piece of paper and left it on the bedside table. She wrote it again, after i tore the first one into pieces. The same day, after we checked out, someone from housekeeping called to tell me that i had left an earring in the hotel room. LOL. Sorry, Cherry, it was really small! hard to spot! So i had to go back to collect it. They lost it again though, apparently. :(
All in all, it was definitely memorable! I guess it was my first stay-cation too! We used up 4 cameras? :D and took about idk, a least 500 pix. HAHA AWESOME!

Roslina, Silvana, Gladys, Hwee Woon, Annabelle for clearing my doubts. Most importantly, God for keeping me healthy during the whole exam period! :D
Today, i bought my first ever pair of high heels. I'm the only person i know that still doesn't know how to wear heels! omg. haha I'm gonna practice over the next few days and on tuesday, i will NOT walk like a duck. :D my feet are gonna die. :S Anyway, the heels are black and shimmery silver. not sure if it matches my dress though. yikes! I have a feeling my outfit for prom night will be weird. :S
It feels great to be on msn, and to be shopping again! i love vivo! XD Lydia and I saw lotsa cool coats and boots in Zara and Wintertime. I'm rreaaallly tempted to buy them! but I already have a coat. damn:( i might get the boots though! :DDDDD Oh, I saw Wei Zhe at vivo! He looks REALLY different with his new black framed specs. Typical NS guy! Couldn't recognise him at all.
Num's selling a new t-shirt! it says "BOOMZ" LOL wthck. Ris Low made such a huge impact on all of us! Everyone's quoting her!

After the paper, Azalea and i went to Island creamery to reserve a cake! Cant wait to eat it. and I met Gladys at BB before going to Orchard. Surprisingly, I bumped into Yi Ci! so i passed him his thumbdrive and I didn't have to meet him at night. ahah. Anyway, Gladys got hit on! LOL damn funny =X
Vana joined us and we all went dress shopping(: The first few shops was way too ex. :( At least $500+ for a dress. So, we went to Far East, where we found a wonderful shop! Dress Me Up. They had over 300+ dresses, though half of them were meant for weddings. :\ haha I found one I was really comfortable in! but G&S said it was too sweet for the theme. -.- The closest one that i wore to the theme was this red hot lacy one? But it was too loud LOL. I wouldn't mind wearing it actually! Just that all the teachers would be there, looking at all of us. haha!
Vana and I finallyfinallyfinally bought our new wallets! Mine's a long brown Ripcurl one while hers is a grey small one. I'm not really used to the brown one though, cos all my past wallets have been pink, xept for one red one, a purple one and an olive green one which Cherry got for me. LOL.
I loved the stuff at Pull and Bear though i had no monehhh:( really liked this leather jacket (at least i think it's leather!) for $129 bucks. Haha. and sil got a really nice bag. :D I reached home at like 10.30.
I had a really weird dream last night! That there was this dude telling my bro and I to join his league or sth or he'd kill 40 people? and then we were at some water park. and we were sort of running away from him. LOL. and Liye was in my dream. O.o

Monday was Teachers' Day! One of my most anticipated days of the year.

Gladys' performance was awesome! Haha first time seeing her dress like that! she looked funky with the vest, shorts, and fedora(: and the impersonations of teachers were damn accurate and hilarious! LOL esp the teachers' reactions. The most bimbo one was of Mr Chng. haha but it's so true. XD
Went back to PEPS! I'm one of the few in my class to actually still go back to pri sch la wthck. but what to do, haha i like the people there. (aww!)

The school changed a lot though, they spent more money on decorating the place. and they're REALLY supportive of YOG. LOL. and i managed to meet up with people i havent seen in ages! like Htet Aung. havent seen him since p6! LOL. and eugene, yongle and RUBIN! haha Rubin won the nationals for shoooting. damn cool la! haha
